Nakhchivan, West Azerbaijan eye co-op
The issues of cooperation between the Nakhchivan Autonomous
Republic and the Iranian province of West Azerbaijan were discussed
in Tabriz.
Azerbaijan's Consul General in Tabriz Ali Alizade met with the new
governor of West Azerbaijan province, Gurbanali Saadat, the
Consulate General reported.
Alizade congratulated the governor on his appointment.
The sides noted the important role of the West Azerbaijan province in the development of Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, and voiced satisfaction over the effective cooperation between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan and the province.
They also discussed the continuation of joint economic, cultural and scientific projects, the development of cooperation in the field of agriculture and other issues of mutual interest.
During his visit to West Azerbaijan province, Alizade also met with a representative of Iran's Supreme Court Head on West Azerbaijan, Imam Jamaat of Urmia - Seyid Mehdi Gureyshi, Foreign Minister head of Iran on province Mohammad Ibrahimi, the CEO of Justice organization of province Tevekkul Heydari.
