The U.S. Azeris Network (USAN) has issued a statement on the provocations of Armenia and the campaign of the Armenian lobby groups to undermine the negotiation process on the eve of the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers in Paris under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group.

The statement reads that the aggressive Armenian armed forces killed Azerbaijani army captain Elnur Jafarov with sniper bullets on 23 January. On the same day the Armenian sniper wounded peaceful citizen of Azerbaijan Rugiya Huseynova.

Armenia became a great source of regional instability and a threat to a stable and prosperous future of the strategically important South Caucasus region. The Armenian government improperly uses the money allocated by the US at the expense of American taxpayers.

The US Azeris Network encourages the Obama administration and members of Congress to act decisively in accordance with the national interests of the United States and to suspend improper subsidies and anti-Western policy of Armenia.
