The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is planning to set up a new building in Hungary's capital, Budapest for the Disabled Children's Rehabilitation Center.

The new building will be consisting of a 30-bed dormitory, a kindergarten and a primary school for disabled children.

The establishment would be a five-storey building covering over 1,300 square meters area for children aged over 18 that are passing rehabilitation courses.

According to the project, the building will include a training hall, a kitchen and an elevator as well.

The groundbreaking inauguration of the building would be attended by state secretary of the Republic of Hungary for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Economic Relations, co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Hungary Intergovernmental Committee Peter Siyarto and representatives from Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijan`s embassy in Budapest.

Meanwhile, additional hostels would be constructed for the Laszlo Batthyany Roman-Catholic Home that will be annexed to the under-construction complex. This will allow better nourishment of children, and ensure that their medical treatment are carried out in better conditions.

Disabled Children's Rehabilitation Center was established in 1982 by the Hungarian Catholic Church to care about the disabled children.

The children-educational establishment admits children with impaired vision, movement, talking and physical ability. In addition to education, they receive treatment through different trainings. It has been set up on a 2,800 square meter area and was renovated in 1994.

Starting its activity since 2004, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been actively contributing to the social and economic development of Azerbaijan by implementing various projects in different fields like education, public health, culture, sports, science and technology, environment and other.

The Foundation, chaired by First lady Mehriban Aliyeva has also accomplished various projects abroad in sectors such as education, culture, sports, environment and society.
