President Aliyev inaugurates construction of recreation complex in Gabala

The first phase of constructing a recreation complex in Gabala started.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration ceremony held on January 3.
President Aliyev cut a ribbon to officially inaugurate the first phase of Tufan Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex, located 4km from the city of Gabala.
The President was told that the first phase of work included the construction of four cable lines and five out of 10 ski slopes.
The Complex features a number of facilities for tourists, including restaurants, a skiing school, a golf club, and a hotel.
The Complex will serve up to 3,000 people a day.
President Aliyev was also informed of the work which will be carried out at the second phase of constructions.
The Azerbaijani President and First Lady viewed the lower station of Riverside cable line.
The Tufan Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex will play a critical role in developing winter sports in Azerbaijan.
