Prospects of Azerbaijan-Turkey military co-op mulled

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov held several meetings during his official visit to Turkey.
Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Necdet Ozel met with Zakir Hasanov in Ankara on December 25, the general staff's website reported.
During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Hasanov also met with the high-ranking Turkish officials in Ankara on December 24.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul received a delegation headed by Hasanov at the Çankaya Presidential Palace on December 24. Also, Hasanov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Ismet Yilmaz.
