President Aliyev receives outgoing Czech envoy

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on December 16 received Czech Ambassador to Baku Radek Matula, who completed his diplomatic mission in the country, AzerTag state news agency reported.

The Head of State said the Azerbaijani-Czech relations had been developing successfully.

President Aliyev stressed the significance of high-level reciprocal visits in expanding bilateral ties between the two countries.

Hailing Matula's contribution to strengthening the Azerbaijani-Czech ties, the president wished him successes in his future activities.

Touching upon his diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan, Matula stressed the importance of the opening of the Czech embassy in Azerbaijan, visits of the Czech Prime Minister and the Chairman of Senate to Baku, as well as other events in terms of expansion of bonds between the two countries.
