Day.Az media company held the winners of the annual competition "People's Choice" ("Xalq Sechimi") awards ceremony in Baku on November 15.

Readers of Day.Az vote for their favorite products online at the Day.Az portal. The winners were awarded with statuettes "People's Choice", diplomas and valuable gifts.

Day.Az director for corporate development Nihad Hagverdiyev spoke at the ceremony about new projects implemented by the company.

The award "People's Brand" was given to the companies in the following categories:

Winner of "The best tea" was "Azerchay" (produced by Azersun Holding);

Winner of "The best sunflower oil" was "Final Oil" (produced by Azersun Holding);

Winner of "The best cottage cheese" was "Sevimli Dad" (produced by MPro);

Winner of "The best ayran" was "Atena" (produced by Atena LLC);

Winner of "The best sunflower seeds" was "Belochka" brand;

Winner of "The best drinking water" was "Slavyanka" brand;

Winner of "The best compote" was "Bizim Tarla" (produced by Azersun Holding);

Winner of "The best milk" was "Pal sud" brand;

Winner of "The best jam" was "Bizim Tarla" (produced by Azersun Holding);

Winner of "The best sausage product" was "Sevimli Dad" (produced by MPro);

And, the winner of "The best canned products" was "Bizim Tarla" (produced by Azersun Holding).

A special prize from Day.Az was given to the brand "IDEA" for achievements in the production of furniture. Moreover, a special prize was given to a popular brand of fruit juices "Jale".

Also, a special prize was given to "Barbarisso" salon, the first children's salon in the South Caucasus. "Skoda" car was awarded with a special prize as the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly car. Ice cream producer "Iceland" was awarded a special prize for the best quality products.

A special prize for services to the regional development of the Internet and ICT was given to the company "SMART Systems Technology".

The event also hosted a presentation of the project "Jobs.day.az", where opportunities for the future employment were disclosed.
