Relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan will grow even further, Secretary General of the Turkish Presidential Administration said on November 8.

Speaking about the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Council on Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey in Ankara, Mustafa Isen said that friendly relations between the two countries are based on a common culture and history, and there is also economic cooperation between the two countries.

"The relationship between the two countries is developing in all spheres on the basis of the "One Nation, Two States" principle of national leader Heydar Aliyev," he said. "It is safe to say that the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are even better than before, and their solidification is expected in the future."

According to Isen, there are now political and economic relations between Ankara and Baku, and the development of these relations will continue at the highest level.

"With the re-election of Ilham Aliyev to the presidency, Turkish-Azerbaijani relations have reached an even higher level," Isen said.

He also emphasized the very great importance of cultural ties that unite the two nations.

The next meeting of the Supreme Council on Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey will be held in Ankara on November 12-13.
