76-year-old man axes wife
A chilling murder has been committed in western Azerbaijan.
76-year-old resident of a settlement in the Fizuli district, Kamal
Abdullayev, killed his wife, Antiga Ahmadova, 68, with an axe on
Monday.
Abdullayev himself was rushed to a hospital with knife wounds and
is currently in critical condition.
The district police said the man had presumably hurt himself. The
motive for his actions is unknown at this point and investigation
is under way.
