Border guards arrest individual on Russian-Azerbaijani border
A person who violated the Russian-Azerbaijani border has been detained.
Relevant joint investigative operations were carried out as part of the agreement for the border protection between the Azerbaijani State Border Service and the Border Service of the Russian Federal Security Service as of July 30, 2013.
As a result, 46-year-old Ramiz Ahmadov was detained. He violated the border in the Russian direction in the area of the frontier located in the village of Yukhari Zeyhuroba in the Gusar region, the State Border Service reported.
At present operational investigative activities are underway, the report said.
