Presidential elections of Azerbaijan in focus of int’l observers

The importance of observing the presidential elections scheduled for October this year in Azerbaijan and Georgia was noted in the letter of Chairman of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum Krzysztof Bobinski addressed to newly elected chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ranko Krivokapic.

"The elections will be observed by local and international observers, including the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the European Parliament and the CE Parliamentary Assembly," the letter reads.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will choose representatives who will be sent to Azerbaijan and Georgia.
