Int’l observers to monitor presidential elections in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan will invite international observers for the forthcoming presidential elections, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told media on Monday after a meeting with OSCE Chairman and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara.
He said this issue has been discussed with OSCE head Leonid Kozhara today.
"According to the international law, Azerbaijan will send invitations to all international organizations to observe the presidential elections in the country," he said.
The presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan this fall.
