Azerbaijani ruling party’s main task is nomination of presidential candidate
The main issue on the agenda of the fifth congress of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party is the nomination of a presidential candidate for this October's elections, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling party, MP Siyavush Novruzov told Trend news agency on May 30.
Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will be nominated at the Congress, Novruzov said.
The fifth congress of the ruling party will be held in early June, he added.
