Astana hosts conference on 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s national leader
Azerbaijan's Embassy in Kazakhstan and Nur Otan Party have held a scientific-practical conference on the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The conference brought together embassy representatives, members of the Azerbaijani diaspora and journalists.
Head of the Center of Analysis, Forecasts and Social Initiatives of Nur Otan Party, Kazbek Kazkenov, stressed national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in introducing Azerbaijan to the world.
Counselor of Azerbaijan`s Embassy Shahin Ahmadov provided an insight into what Heydar Aliyev had done to ensure independence and strengthen statehood of Azerbaijan.
The speakers noted the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in developing relations between the two countries.
The event featured demonstration of a documentary on the life and activity of the national leader.
