Baku refutes reports on involvement in bank notes delivery to Syria
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abullayev said the Syrian authorities have not appealed to Azerbaijan for use of its air space for transit of bank notes.
Azerbaijan also did not sell diesel fuel to Syria, as reported by media outlets, Abdullayev said, while commenting on recent media reports that Azerbaijan has provided its airspace for the illegal transit of banknotes from Russia to the Syrian authorities.
