Quake jolts northwest of Azerbaijan
An earthquake measuring 4.5 points on the Richter scale occurred on Friday in the Sheki region of Azerbaijan, the National Seismic Survey Centre reported.
Tremors were registered at 01:38 am local time.
Tremors measuring 3 points on the Richter scale were felt in Sheki. Tremors measuring under 3 points on the Richter scale were felt in Zagatala, Gakh and Oguz.
The earthquake caused no deaths or injuries.
