President Aliyev visits Hajigabul District

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on April 15 visited the country's Hajigabul District, AzerTac state news agency reported.

The head of state honoured national leader Heydar Aliyev's monument and laid flowers, inspected the photo stand at the Heydar Aliyev Center, toured the park developed in the front of the Centre.

The President was informed that the Centre functions since 2008. After reconstruction work last year, area of the Centre was expanded to 1,172 square meters. The Centre now has an exposition hall, photo, folklore and drawing studios, e-library, foreign languages study, conference and cinema halls. Here, the youth study Heydar Aliyev's political heritage.

The Center has rich photo archive reflecting the national leader's visits to the District, his meetings with local public. E-library includes updated technology for access to electronic catalogue and bibliographic data, legislative resources and periodic media.
President of Azerbaijan toured the Heydar Aliyev Park.

As a result of reconstruction work which started here in 2011 the Park with total area of 1.5 hectares was refurbished.

Modern lightening system and large greenery makes more attractive the Park with a leisure and rest center, 320-seat summer theatre and café in it.
