Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and Austrian Red Cross to present joint project
The Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and Austrian Red Cross later on Friday will present joint projects "Establishment of safe and resilient communities" and "East Climate Forum".
"Climate Forum East" project will be implemented during two years. The aim of the project is to ensure active participation of government and non-government organizations for a theme of an Adaptation to Climate Change through non-government organizations in six countries -- Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia included in the Eastern Partnership program of the European Union.
The project is aimed at involving the government bodies, the European Union's bodies and the international organizations into a policy of dialog at national and international level by keeping an actuality of a topic of Climate Change Adaptation.
The Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society took a commitment in order to implement the project in Azerbaijan. The project has received a technical support from the Austrian Red Cross and a finance support from the European Union.
