Baku scrutinizing British travel agency's move
The Azerbaijani government is scrutinizing the reports saying Britain's Sunville Discovery travel agency will arrange a tour to Armenia and the occupied Azerbaijani territories, the Foreign Ministry spokesman Khazar Ibrahim said.
"The ministry will express its official position on the matter in the coming days," he said.
A report posted on the agency's website said the price for the 10-day trip, including airfare and accommodation, was 1,627 pounds. This excludes the cost for "a visa" to Armenia and the occupied Upper (Nagorno) Garabagh region and the landing fee.
On the seventh day of the trip, travelers are expected to visit the historic Azerbaijani town of Shusha located in Garabagh. The tourists will further travel to Khankandi (Stepanakert), an Azeri town turned by Armenians into the center of the self-proclaimed republic, where they will visit local museums. On the ninth day, the travelers will return to Yerevan passing through Shusha.
