President Aliyev inspects new block of Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Art
President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday inspected a new block of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Art, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The Academy was established under an executive order of the Head of State in 2002.
Rector of the Academy Omar Eldarov told the President that the three-storey building occupied a total area of 6,500 square meters. The state-of-the-art facility had 128 classrooms, as well as departments and laboratories.
President Ilham Aliyev toured the classrooms, and met the academy`s teaching staff. Omar Eldarov thanked the Head of State on behalf of the teachers.
President Ilham Aliyev congratulated them on the opening of the new block of the State Academy of Fine Art.
