NATO accession to be mulled
Azerbaijan's membership to NATO will be discussed as part of the
consultations on security between Baku and Washington due in July,
US Ambassador Anne Derse says.
Derse told reporters on Tuesday that US-Azeri talks on security issues have been under way for more than 10 years. During the upcoming discussions, the sides will moot a number of matters, including the South Caucasus republic's integration into the alliance.
A broad delegation is due to arrive in Azerbaijan to take part in the talks.
