Ban on Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights will not affect Azerbaijan

The ban on flights of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner in the U.S. and Europe will not affect flights to Azerbaijan, a source in Azerbaijani state airline AZAL told Trend news agency.
According to him, this is because no flights to Azerbaijan are
made using these aircraft.
"A ban on flights of these aircraft will not affect Azerbaijan, as
no flights of Boeing 787 Dreamliner are made to the republic," the
source said.
The European Aviation Safety Agency has banned flights using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner following the same action of U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Japanese All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines, who experienced problems in early 2013, were the first to refuse to fly Dreamliner.
The operation of the Boeing 787 has been stopped temporarily for as long as the authorities take to check and solve the problems related with any potential risk.
Azerbaijan plans to order two of these aircraft in 2014. AZAL believes that all problems with the aircraft will be resolved by that time.
