Gang exposed in Azerbaijan over fraud
The National Security Ministry has exposed an organized criminal group in Azerbaijan engaged in fraud, the ministry said on Wednesday.
Azerbaijani citizens Ilham Jafarov, Ahliman Mammadov, Eyvaz Bayramov, Natig Asadov, Talib Jabbarov, Samir Mammadov and others set up a group that committed acts of fraud.
It was later established that they promised citizens various positions in the government, as well as preferential loans.
