Azeri defense, interior ministers to sign agreements in Italy
Several senior Azerbaijani officials will visit Italy by late 2012, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadikhov told media on Wednesday.
He said Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and Interior Minister Ramil Usubov will visit Italy.
The agreement will be signed between the relevant departments of the two countries during Abiyev's visit in early November.
Usubov plans to participate in the 81st session of the General Assembly of Interpol in Rome during his visit. The minister will meet with Italian counterpart on the sidelines of the session. The interior ministries of the two countries are expected to sign a cooperation agreement.
Ambassador Sadikhov said State Border Service head Elchin Guliyev is also expected to visit Italy in late 2012.
