S Korea in talks with Azerbaijan on defense coop - envoy
The newly appointed South Korean ambassador to Azerbaijan said Thursday that the two countries are in talks on the development of defense cooperation.
Choi Suk-inn said military attache has been appointed to the Azerbaijani embassy in South Korea, and appointment of a military attache to the Korean embassy in Azerbaijan will give an impetus to the development of cooperation in this field.
The ambassador said political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries continues to develop rapidly.
Noting the mutual visits by officials of both countries, the ambassador said relevant government agencies regularly hold discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation.
