CoE body to discuss Azeri law on freedom of religious faith
The Council of Europe's advisory body on constitutional issues will hold an exchange of views on Azerbaijan's law on freedom of religious faith.
The Venice Commission is invited to discuss related issues with Shahin Aliyev, the Presidential Administration's head of legislation and legal expertise, and to examine, with a view to adoption, the draft joint opinion by the Venice Commission and the OSCE/ODIHR.
The Sub-Commission on Fundamental Rights will examine the draft opinion at its meeting on October 11.
