MP's appeal on rejection of parliamentary mandate approved
The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) approved on Wednesday MP Gular Ahmadova's appeal on voluntarily rejection of her parliamentary mandate.
The video with former Azerbaijan International University rector
Elshad Abdullayev and Gular Ahmadova was posted by online media
outlets on September 25. The video shows Abdullayev offers a large
sum of money to Ahmadova to become a member of parliament. The Baku
City Prosecutor's Office has filed a criminal case. An
investigation is underway.
