Caspian status talks due in Ashgabat late Sept.
The next meeting of Caspian littoral states` deputy foreign ministers to discuss the basin's legal status will be held on September 26-27 in Ashgabat, Turkmen Ambassador in Baku Toyli Komekov said Wednesday at a press conference.
According to the ambassador, at present, a meeting of representatives of the agencies engaged in the fishing industry of the coastal nations is being organized.
Komekov said the meeting will focus on the progress made in enforcing the decisions adopted at the summit of the Caspian states' leaders held in November 2010 in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.
During the Baku summit, all the Caspian countries supported Turkmenistan's idea to develop an agreement on conservation and sustainable use of biological resources of the Caspian Sea, Komekov said.
