University principal Nargiz Pashayeva: Knowledge is key for student admission
Rector of the Baku branch of Moscow State University, Prof. Nargiz Pashayeva, has said profound knowledge is the founding principle in student admission at her university.
"As always, during the admission exams this year, we evaluated the applicants in accordance with one factor -- knowledge, only knowledge. The doors of our university are open to everyone who has knowledge," Pashayeva said.
Pashayeva said this year all exams were conducted under strict control, as before.
"Anyone who was admitted knows that the main thing that was required is knowledge," Pashayeva said. "I am very pleased that this year, students from nine regions of Azerbaijan will study at our university. This is a great achievement."
411 students enrolled in the Moscow State University's Baku branch, including 388 Bachelor's and 23 Master's degree students.
