CE appoints new envoy
The Council of Europe secretary general has appointed Veronika
Kotek his new ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Kotek, who comes from the Czech Republic, will succeed Denis Bribosia for the next two years. She currently holds the post of Project Director in the department of judiciary and legal reforms of the General Directorate on human rights and legal affairs. Prior to her new appointment, Kotek acted as protection officer in the UNCHR office in Moscow.
