Civilian heavily injured in mine blast
A young Azeri stepped on a mine in the Khojavand district on Monday evening.
23-year-old Ahad Yusifov, who comes from Khojavand's Tugh village, was grazing sheep in the Garasu area of the district liberated from Armenian occupation. The mine exploded after he bumped into it while riding a horse, executive authorities said.
Yusifov, who was hospitalized in the Beylagan district, is currently in grave condition. He had to undergo a surgery and both of his legs were amputated.
