Baku Bay ships to accommodate Eurovision visitors

Three ships are available -- besides hotels -- to accommodate visitors arriving in the Azerbaijani capital Baku for the Eurovision 2012 song contest to be held here next week, head of the Azerbaijani Tourism Association Nahid Bagirov said Tuesday. ``These ships are moored in the waters of Baku Bay, near the yacht club located at the National Sea Park,`` Bagirov told Trend news agency. ``Each of these vessels can accommodate 100 people.``

Bagirov also said Eurovision attendees are being placed in Baku hotels. Around 5,000 people have been accommodated to date. There are enough rooms available for new tourists and so far guests have been satisfied with the arrangements.

Trips to Gobustan, Absheron, Shamakhi and Gabala have been organized for the official delegations of the contest since May 13.
