Pakistani president to visit Azerbaijan in April
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan and attend a joint business forum to be held in Baku in late April, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Dashgin Shikarov told Trend news agency.
``As is expected, a big boost in economic and trade relations with Azerbaijan is expected during the president`s visit. Robust political and diplomatic relations between Islamabad and Baku will also be translated into strong economic and commercial ties,`` Shikarov said.
Over 100 Pakistani entrepreneurs will accompany President Zardari. The business forum is being held for the first time since the two countries established diplomatic relations about 20 years ago, he said.
``The forum will give a tremendous fillip to trade and investment between the friendly and brotherly states,`` Shikarov added.
