Pakistan says ready to provide military aid to Azerbaijan
Pakistan is ready to provide military support to Azerbaijan, deputy chairman of the Pakistani Senate said in Baku on Wednesday.
"Pakistan is a nuclear power. It produces military aircraft, tanks and warships. If money is invested, [bilateral] cooperation can be expanded," Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali said at a press conference.
Jamali said Pakistan has excellent military cooperation with Turkey, and such relations could also be established with Azerbaijan.
He said the Chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Khalid Shameem Wynne, is currently in Baku to hold a number of meetings.
