Pakistan offers to set up Islamic military bloc
Deputy chairman of the Pakistani Senate Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali has said on a visit to Baku that it is time to establish a military bloc of Islamic countries and there is relevant potential in place.
Jamali told the press that the West adheres to double standards in dealing with global developments and makes no effort to resolve the conflicts in Nagorno Karabakh, Bosnia and Kashmir. He stressed that UN decisions on these conflicts have not been fulfilled.
"There are many Muslim countries that are powerful from the military and political points of view, and uniting these countries into a bloc would be useful for solving our problems," Jamali added.
