Fishing vessel explosion kills four
An explosion rocked a fishing vessel at the Zykh seaport in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Thursday afternoon, killing four Azerbaijanis on board.
The accident occurred during welding work, according to preliminary conclusions of the emergencies ministry. A scrutiny into the case is underway.
The blast victims are the vessel’s captain, aged 48, a 47-year-old sailor, a 46-year-old mechanic and a 52-year-old welder.
