Serbia backs Armenian pullout from Azeri land
Serbia supports Azerbaijan’s position in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and deems as important freeing the country’s territory from Armenian occupation, Serbian ambassador in Baku Zoran Vayovich has said.
Vayovich told a news conference Monday dedicated to Serbia’s day of statehood that Serbia-Azerbaijan relations are based on mutual recognition of territorial integrity and respect for the norms of international law.
"Serbia supports and will continue to support Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity," Vayovich said.
He said bilateral relations are on a very high level, and the two countries back each other in all international organizations.
