Azeri leader meets Albanian premier
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev Thursday met Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
President Aliyev said Berisha`s first visit to Baku would contribute to expanding the bilateral relations.
The Azerbaijani leader expressed hope the two countries` ties would further develop.
President Aliyev stressed the importance of the decisions to be made and documents to be signed during the visit in terms of bringing the two countries closer to each other.
Berisha said Albanians considered Azerbaijan a friendly country. He said his visit was aimed at developing the existing friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Albania.
The Albanian premier stressed the importance of high-level reciprocal visits in terms of strengthening the bilateral relations, expressing hope such visits would continue in future.
President Aliyev and Prime Minister Berisha then had a joint dinner.
