Helsinki Commission adviser sees conflicts as threat to S Caucasus security
The conflicts in the South Caucasus region threaten stability and security of the entire region, Michael Och, a policy adviser at the U.S. Congress’ Helsinki Commission said.
"Despite the efforts of the [mediating] Minsk Group and the occasional exuberant claims of imminent success, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict looks little different than 15 years ago," he said.
