New Indonesian ambassador appointed to Azerbaijan
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono swore in 26 new Indonesian ambassadors on Wednesday, including new envoy to Azerbaijan Prayono Atiyanto, The Jakarta Post reported.
The 26 new envoys will immediately begin duties in their designated countries following the ceremony.
Indonesian ambassadors to Russia, Estonia, Belarus, the Netherlands, the U.S, Qatar, Vatican, Oman, Great Britain and other countries swore an oath on Wednesday.
The Azerbaijani embassy to Indonesia opened in 2005.
