Azerbaijan to hold int’l arms exhibition
An international exhibition of arms will be held in Azerbaijan in 2014, Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov has said.
"Holding an exhibition of the defense industry is a very difficult process," Jamalov told reporters last Saturday. "Preparation of such events takes at least two years. Talks are underway in this regard with companies which organize such international exhibitions."
Jamalov said further that the Defense Industry Ministry is negotiating with the Ukrainian corporation Luch the production of anti-tank missiles.
The ministry was established by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's order in December 2005.
