FM: Azerbaijan to continue political dialogue with Israel
Azerbaijan intends to continue its political dialogue with Israel. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov made this statement at a meeting with the Israeli Foreign Ministry Director General Rafael Barak, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
Mammadyarov stressed the great potential for development of bilateral relations.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Israel were established 20 years ago and are rapidly developing, Barak said at the meeting.
Israeli diplomat congratulated Mammadyarov on Azerbaijan's election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
The sides discussed the processes in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
