Azerbaijan to offer special tour packages for Eurovision viewers
Azerbaijani government is preparing special tour packages for the 2012 Eurovision song contest to be held in Baku, jointly with local travel agencies and hotels, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev has said.
"A single package will offer a full range of services -- from welcoming [the visitors] at the airport in Azerbaijan to seeing them off," he told reporters. "Besides, work is underway to include tickets for the show in the package."
Garayev said that as soon as the travel packages are ready, detailed information will be provided about them on the Web.
Eurovision 2012 semifinals will be held in Azerbaijan on May 22 and 24, and the final on May 26.
