Azeri tycoon to buy Turkish TV channel – report
Azerbaijani tycoon Mubariz Mansimov will purchase Turkey’s influential Canal D television channel that has been put on sale, Turkish website derinmedya.com reported.
Mansimov will become the owner of the TV channel in two months at the most, the report claimed.
The Azerbaijani businessman, who heads Palmali group of companies, owns one of the world’s biggest oil and cargo transportation fleets, which includes about 200 ships. He is also involved in Turkey’s hotel, aviation transport and construction sectors.
