UNWTO head to visit Azerbaijan
Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization (WTO) Taleb Rifai will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on Nov.14, the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry said on Friday.
Rifai will mull the cooperation between the UNWTO and Azerbaijan at a meeting with Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev on Nov.15. He will hold a news conference on the same day.
The Azerbaijani Tourism Institute will host an event on Nov.16, during which Rifai will be awarded the title of "Honorary Doctor" of the Institute, the ministry said.
