EU ambassadors visit Azeri frontline region
European Union countries’ ambassadors to Azerbaijan have visited a region located on the frontline with Armenia to study the situation there and meet with the persons displaced by the 1990s war and local residents to enquire about their concerns, according to the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan.
"During our visit [to the Fuzuli region], we witnessed the current situation first-hand and sensed the deprivations and challenges faced by the people living close to the frontline," said head of the EU Delegation Roland Kobia, who was among the diplomats that visited the region on Monday and Tuesday.
