Forged banknotes found in Baku
Large quantities of forged banknotes worth 50 and 100 manats -- bills of the highest value used in Azerbaijan -- have been found in Baku.
According to the Baku police department, during operations carried out by law enforcers, 113 forged bills worth 100 manats ($128) and 51 bills worth 50 manats were found in an apartment of a Baku resident, along with 29 grams of heroin.
Also, 14 forged banknotes worth 5 manats and 7 bills worth 20 manats were discovered at an apartment in the Sabunchu settlement. 85 grams of marijuana were found there as well.
Investigation into the cases is underway.
