Baku considers Putin`s Eurasian economic zone proposal ‘quite interesting’
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's initiative on the possibility to establish Eurasian economic zone is quite interesting, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said in an interview with Russian Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, published on Monday.
"As far as I understand, this is a situation on the eve of the election platform and reaching a new stage of development if Vladimir Vladimirovich is elected the president. The subject of the Eurasian area is being intensively discussed," Mammadyarov said.
According to the minister, the economic platform is actually "the only organization that unites".
