Date for FMs' talks set
The date for the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign
Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and Eduard Nalbandian has been
scheduled. The talks on the Upper (Nagorno) Garabagh conflict will
take place on May 6, a day ahead of the previously reported date,
the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry spokesman Khazar Ibrahim said.
The ministerial will be held on the sidelines of a meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.
French co-chairman of the mediating OSCE Minsk Group, Bernard Fassier, said the mediators were binding their hopes for advances in the peace process with the ministers' meeting, after which they would outline further steps.
