PACE president urges Armenia to honor assembly`s decisions
President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Mevlut Chavusoglu has said Armenians must respect decisions of the Assembly.
"Unfortunately, Armenians are not involved in the activity of the PACE’s Subcommittee for Nagorno Karabakh. The decisions of the Parliamentary Assembly must be respected," Chavusoglu told the journalists.
He said the aim of the Subcommittee for Nagorno Karabakh is to reduce the number of problems in the field of human rights.
"Being the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe we decided to reactivate the Subcommittee for Nagorno Karabakh, because the occupation of Azerbaijan`s lands creates problems in the area of human rights."
